Joab (JB) E. Eilon

Joab B. Eichenberg-Eilon [J.B.] has been involved with languages from young age, writing and translating most of his life. German and Israeli origins, as well as studying and working in Israel, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and the United Sates, account for his working languages: English, French and Hebrew as target languages, and the same plus German and Dutch as source languages. Additionally he is able to translate from classical languages including biblical and rabbinic Hebrew and Aramaic and classical Chinese. J.B. was a regular subtitles translator for Israel Television and translated novels, documents relating to interfaith relations, museum catalogues, annual reports, mechanical operations manuals, press releases and more. J.B. served for many years as a diplomat and research fellow in prestigious think tanks as well as in higher education. He holds a BA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a doctorate from EHESS, France, and MBA from INSEAD, France and rabbinic ordination from HUC, Cincinnati, OH, USA.
